WHAT IS PHYSICAL WELLBEING?

This programme focuses on developing and improving confidence, communication & team building skills.

 

The sessions aim to be motivational for young people, increasing their confidence through active participation and improve wellbeing.

​

WHO’S IT FOR?

​

The programme is aimed at children and young people  aged 4-16 years who have been identified with  needs around wellbeing. Sessions are for targeted groups and last 45-60 minutes.

​

WHAT WILL THE OUTCOMES BE?

​

Physical wellbeing sessions will motivate young people to lead a healthier lifestyle and build resilience with support. The programme will be delivered by the Get Ahead team who will work with children on a 1:1 basis or in group session.

​

WHAT WILL THE SCHOOL NEED TO DO?

​

  • Each programme is tailored to the individual school's requirements and adapted to meet the needs of the children and young people participating.

  • Identify a group of children who would benefit from the programme.

  • Identify a suitable and convenient allocated time and day for the sessions to take place.
