Y8 Girls Sportshall Athletics

School teams should consist of a minimum of 5 athletes with a

maximum of 8 athletes being permitted. They may compete in a

maximum of three track and two field events, drawn from the

following:

On the track

each requiring two athletes

● 2 Lap Race (A & B athlete)

● 4 Lap Race (A & B athlete)

● 8 Lap Paarlauf ( 2 athletes working as a pair)

requiring one athlete

● 6 Lap Race

each requiring four athletes

● 4 x 1 Lap Relay

● 4 x 2 Lap Relay

....and in the field

each requiring two athletes

● Shot

● Speed Bounce

● Standing Long Jump

● Standing Triple Jump

● Vertical Jump
