The second virtual competition is Lap Land Challenge which is an exciting jogging and / or walking challenge, allowing athletes to complete 'laps' during the school day.

Please ensure you follow all the rules as explained in the link above. Staff should record the number of 'laps' a child completes each school day of the virtual competition window, encouraging all children to participate. At the end of the window send us the total distance covered by KS1 and KS2 children. These will be divided by the number of children on roll in each key stage to give an overall average. All these scores will be compared across North Lincolnshire.  

 

Recognition will be awarded to the schools who have the completed the greatest distance average in each category.   We will also be rewarding all children who take part with their Determination School Games Value Sticker. If a school achieves 75% participation in all year groups, they will receive a School Games Value Certificate.
